The Aramith 2-1/4″ regulation size magnetic cue ball is crafted from the highest quality phenolic resin which provides exceptional scratch and impact resistance. Each billiard ball adheres to the most stringent specifications in the industry, ensuring superior playability and durability. With the magnetic material evenly distributed throughout the core of the cue ball, it’s intended for use on most of today’s coin operated tables. Using a regulation size magnetic cue ball is a great alternative to using an oversized cue ball. When a magnetic cue ball goes into a pocket, it’s separated from numbered balls by a detector. As the billiard ball passes by this detector, the magnetic material triggers a deflecting device that separates the cue ball to a second chute, where it’s sent to an opening on the side of the table. Both magnetic and oversized cue balls can be used interchangeably.
